In addition, you can now develop your AWS Elastic Beanstalk applications using Go 1.11. The latest Go 1.11 version has changes in the implementation of the toolchain, runtime, and libraries. For the complete list of Go 1.11 features, visit the official Go 1.11 release announcement. You can upgrade your existing Elastic Beanstalk Go environment using the Elastic Beanstalk console or through the AWS Command Line Interface (AWS CLI) and Elastic Beanstalk API. See Updating Your Elastic Beanstalk Environment's Platform Version for additional details.
