Starting today, customers can use Amazon Bedrock in the AWS Europe (Paris) Region to easily build and scale AI applications using a variety of foundation models and generative AI tools.
Amazon Bedrock is a fully managed service that offers a choice of high-performing foundation models (FMs) from leading AI companies like AI21 Labs, Anthropic, Cohere, Meta, Mistral AI, Stability AI, and Amazon via a single API. Bedrock also provides a broad set of capabilities you need to build generative AI applications with security, privacy, and responsible AI. These capabilities help you build tailored applications for multiple use cases across different industries, helping organizations unlock sustainable growth while maintaining privacy and security.
With this launch, Amazon Bedrock is now available in 6 AWS Regions: US East (N. Virginia), US West (Oregon), Asia Pacific (Tokyo), Europe (Frankfurt), Europe (Paris), and the AWS GovCloud (US-West) Region. At launch, customers will have access to some of the latest models from Cohere, Mistral, Amazon, and very soon Anthropic - expanding your options to support various use cases across multiple industries.
