AWS Data Provider for SAP now supports a new operating system and Java Development Kit (JDK) versions, integrates with Linux logrotate, and expands support to new AWS regions.

AWS Data Provider for SAP is a tool that collects performance-related data from AWS services such as Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) and CloudWatch. This data includes information about the operating system, network, and storage that is relevant to SAP infrastructure. AWS Data Provider for SAP makes this data available to SAP applications to help monitor and improve the performance of business transactions.

AWS Data Provider for SAP version 4.3.2 introduces several features over version 4.0:

  1. Support for Oracle Linux OS
  2. Support for JDK 11 and 17
  3. Integration with Linux logrotate to automatically rotate, compress, remove, and retain log files

AWS Data Provider for SAP is available in all commercial regions, including the recently added regions Asia Pacific (Jakarta), Middle East (UAE), Europe (Spain), Europe (Zurich), Asia Pacific (Hyderabad), Asia Pacific (Melbourne), and Israel (Tel Aviv).
