Paradigm Shift: Robot Vacuum Cleaners

When you want to have a clean house, even with kids - the best tool to meet those needs are a robot vacuum cleaner, like a Roomba, Shark, Roborock, etc. (Wow, this product category exploded!)

With a sufficiently advanced robot vacuum cleaner, you will use your regular vacuum cleaner far less than before.

I used to want to vacuum the house once a week, now I barely even touch the regular vacuum cleaner.

Robot vacuum cleaners today are so advanced and come with different features that at minimum, I would suggest these:

• self-docking for recharging
• disposal base for the robot to empty its contents
• Internet connection for remote control and/or scheduling

Each of these features just make your life better as you interact less with the robot vacuum cleaner will take care of itself day-to-day.

A robot vacuum cleaner will just let you focus on cleaning up and putting away - which is usually 20% of the work and 80% of the effort (i.e. deciding where things go).

After a week with a robot vacuum cleaner, I wondered how I ever got along without one or what held me back from buying one sooner. A robot vacuum cleaner is that good - it’s a paradigm shift, where I cannot imagine how I did that task before the robot vacuum.

Now I am enjoying a clean home with only 20% of the effort I spent before.
