Amazon MemoryDB for Redis is now in scope for FedRAMP Moderate in the US East (Ohio), US East (N. Virginia), US West (N. California), and US West (Oregon) Regions. You can now use MemoryDB to build applications for workloads that are subject to FedRAMP Moderate compliance.

The Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) is a US government-wide program that delivers a standard approach to the security assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring for cloud products and services. Amazon MemoryDB for Redis is an in-memory database with microsecond reads, low single-digit millisecond writes, scalability, and enterprise security.

In addition to achieving FedRAMP Moderate authorization, MemoryDB is also HIPAA eligible, HITRUST, ISO certified, SOC, and PCI DSS compliant.
