Starting today, Amazon Chime SDK messaging is generally available in the Europe (Frankfurt) Region.
Amazon Chime SDK messaging provides the building blocks needed to create chat and other real-time messaging features. Available APIs include sending, editing and deleting messages; retrieving messaging history, setting retention polices on stored messages; real-time processing of messages, and streaming chat export. Developers can use these APIs combined with managed messaging infrastructure to connect their users over chat with a serverless architecture that scales.
With this announcement, Amazon Chime SDK messaging is now available in two regions: US East (N. Virginia) and Europe (Frankfurt). To get started, please refer to Amazon Chime SDK messaging developer guide.
