Starting the review and feedback session for Meeting C++ 2021

Since yesterday the voting on the talks for Meeting C++ 2021 is online. You'll be able to give your feedback until August 3rd.

Start your voting session today!

Like every year, Meeting C++ gives the C++ community the chance to review the talks and give feedback on them for a short period. You'll be able to leave a comment on each talk and vote between 0 - 5, where 5 is best.

After the review period ends, the result will guide Meeting C++ in picking the right talks. With a year of pandemic behind us, and a little bit more of it ahead, this years submissions are different. With only 48 submissions, its also the year with the least submissions since 2012. Though these submissions are of high quality, and I already see that 2021 will have a great program. A reason for the low submission number is that some speakers that submit often have decided to speak next year again, when we'll be onsite.

Program

The result of this voting will have a certain influence on the program. I will have to think about how many tracks we'll host, and how many talks are in one track. Last year the conference had to plan with being hybrid, which meant we'd have one track in Berlin only. So it made sense to do the whole conference as one track. This will be different this year, with the conference being fully online in September. It will include 2-4 Tracks of talks, but also other formats such as AMAs, an online fair and other activities centered around learning C++ and exchanging knowledge.
