Amazon Fraud Detector Preview now supports connectivity through AWS PrivateLink

Posted on: Jun 18, 2020

You can now use AWS PrivateLink to privately access Amazon Fraud Detector from your Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (Amazon VPC) without using public IPs and without requiring the traffic to traverse across the Internet. AWS PrivateLink provides private connectivity between Amazon VPCs, AWS services, and on-premises applications, securely on the Amazon network. Amazon Fraud Detector is a fully managed service that makes it easy to identify potentially fraudulent online activities such as online payment fraud and the creation of fake accounts.

To use AWS PrivateLink with Amazon Fraud Detector, create an interface VPC endpoint for Fraud Detector in your VPC using the Amazon VPC console, SDK or CLI. You can also access the VPC endpoint from on-premises environments or from other VPCs using AWS VPN, AWS Direct Connect, or VPC Peering.

Private VPC connectivity for Amazon Fraud Detector is available in the US East (N. Virginia), US East (Ohio), US West (Oregon), Europe (Ireland), Asia Pacific (Singapore) and Asia Pacific (Sydney) regions. Learn more and sign up for the Fraud Detector preview here.
