Today, AWS Marketplace announced the ability to easily upgrade and renew existing SaaS Contracts and Contracts with Consumption Pricing (CCP) Private Offers. AWS Marketplace helps customers find, buy, deploy, and manage third-party software that runs on AWS. With SaaS Contract Upgrades and Renewals, customers can keep up with their changing business needs and accommodate expanding workloads on AWS.

Sellers, whether an independent software vendor (ISV) or consulting partner, can use self-service functionality within Seller Private Offers to easily create an upgrade or renewal offer at any time during a buyer’s active agreement. When creating an upgrade, sellers can grant new entitlements, apply pricing discounts, update payment schedules, or change an end user license agreement (EULA) to meet buyer needs. To extend the buyer's agreement end-date and enable seamless software contract renewals, sellers can now define a new, custom end-date on a new Private Offer with Flexible Payment Scheduler. Once a buyer reviews changes and accepts the agreement, the new terms immediately go into effect. The previous terms, including any remaining scheduled payments, are overwritten, with no interruption to buyers’ software service.

At launch, any registered AWS Marketplace seller (ISV or consulting partner) can create an Upgrade or Renewal Private Offer for SaaS Contract and CCP products.
