Amazon Pinpoint is now available in the AWS GovCloud (US-West) Region. With Amazon Pinpoint, you can engage your customers by sending marketing campaigns and transactional messages through email, SMS, push notification, and voice channels.
The AWS GovCloud (US) Regions are designed to host sensitive data and regulated workloads in the cloud and to enable you to adhere to ITAR regulations, FedRAMP requirements, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), DoD (SRG) Impact Levels 2 and 4 and 5, and several other security and compliance requirements. With this latest release you can now use Amazon Pinpoint to engage with your customers securely from the AWS GovCloud (US-West) Region. You can learn more about the AWS GovCloud (US) Regions here.
In addition to AWS GovCloud (US-West), Amazon Pinpoint is available in US East (Virginia), US West (Oregon), Europe (Ireland), Asia Pacific (Mumbai), Asia Pacific (Sydney), and EU (Frankfurt) Regions. The built-in analytics suite of Amazon Pinpoint helps you develop a deeper understanding of your customers' demographics and behaviors. Additionally, the Amazon Pinpoint analytics tools help you monitor and track the ways that your customers interact with your engagements and applications.
