Amazon Managed Cassandra Service now helps you automate the creation and management of resources by using AWS CloudFormation

Amazon Managed Apache Cassandra Service (MCS), a scalable, highly available, and managed Apache Cassandra–compatible database service, now helps you automate the creation and management of resources by using AWS CloudFormation.

Using CloudFormation, you can create and manage settings for resources in MCS based on templates. The templates enable you to specify the name of keyspaces and tables. You also can specify the schema, read/write mode, and provisioned throughput settings for tables.

There is no additional cost to use CloudFormation, and support for CloudFormation is available in all AWS Regions where Amazon MCS (preview) is offered. For more information about using CloudFormation to create Amazon MCS resources, see Cassandra Resource Type Reference in the AWS CloudFormation User Guide.
