Buffalo v0.14.8 Released! + New Release Notes
New Release Notes Format
It’s been a while since we announced a release, though releases have been happening. Part of the reason we have failed to announce these releases, is not because we aren’t proud of them, but rather the process of writing release notes on Medium isn’t the best.
With that said, we have decided to dedicated a section of https://gobuffalo.io just to release notes. We believe that putting the release notes on the documentation site will make it easier for users to discover new releases, understand the differences, as well as contribute to missing or in-correct release notes.
As part of this update we have also added sections to all of the release notes to compare, and diff, the go.mod files for both the buffalo library/bin as well as a “hello world” style Buffalo application. This should better help developers understand which packages have been changed between two releases.
